Darby is very articulate in explaining spiritual abuse and she included a number of different potential abuse scenarios. I appreciate that so much. I love how she describes the gentleness of Jesus and just everything she said about suffering and asking questions. I'm at a place right now where I feel unheard and trapped (an unpleasant marriage situation). I hope as a result of this podcast, I can be more sensitive to those around me suffering. There's alot of it out there both seen and unseen. Thank you! I hope we can hear more of Darby's experience and wisdom.❤

    Hi... My name is Benny...
Thanks so much for this encouraging and convicting podcast...
I relate to some of what Darby has said...
My mom was spiritual abusive towards me and my brother during our childhood and teen years... My mom was good at shaming me and my brother... She would humiliate us....
Need your daily intercessary prayers for mental, emotional and spiritual healing and restoration...

Oh Benny... Our hearts do break for you hearing of the pain you endured. May God's comfort be ever present in the midst of your pain and may he bring your restoration in every way.

This was so good. It’s sad that anyone has been treated the ways illustrated here

Thank you for your teaching. It helped me understand why I am reacting the way I do. My husband was a pastor and spiritually abusive. We are no longer married but I have a hard time listening to sermons and feel very condemned. I used to love going to church and read the Bible and pray. But now I struggle. Feel like I want to avoid all that. Your teaching helped me a lot.
